Louis J. Foehrkolb, 82, of Westminster,MD
Louis Joseph "Lou" Foehrkolb, 82, of Westminster died Sept. 20, 2007, at Carroll Hospital Center.
Born Sept. 26, 1924, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ida Ermer Foehrkolb. He was the husband of Barbara Wareheim Foehrkolb, his wife of 33 years.
He was a self-employed trainer of bird dogs and was a member of the Mason-Dixon German Shorthair Pointer Club.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are son and daughter in law Alan M. and Denise Stull of Sykesville; daughter and fiancée Melissa L. Foehrkolb and Charles Hungerford of Westminster; a daughter, Margaret A. "Maggie" Richard of Westminster; a sister, Bertha Callender of Rosedale; a brother, Edward Foehrkolb of North Carolina; mother-in-law Margaret A. Bowman of Westminster; brother-in-law Robert Wareheim of Westminster; grandchildren Patrick and Lindsay Stull, Justin and Brandon Black, Dylan Richard and Tyler Hungerford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by daughter, Karen L. Black.
A memorial gathering will be held at 1 p.m. Oct. 14, at 4001 Turkeyfoot Road, Westminster.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made the family in care of Melissa Foehrkolb, 689 Windsor Drive, Westminster, MD 21158.
