Bobby, I thought about calling you tonight, decided it was too late. Probably would not have been able to talk to you right now anyway, my grief is so great. I want you to know that Lou never failed to mention your name when we talked. He took great pride in your work w/ GSP s, and in you as a friend. While we will all wonder in the days ahead why Lou had to die now, I think I might have the answer. I can't help but think that St. Peter and God were standing in the bird field yesterday, scratching their heads over what to do with a young dog they screwed up, when someone ( probably Al Sause) walked up to them and told them, " Let me tell you something - The only man who can fix that dog for you is Lou Foehrkolb." I'm thinking that puppy will be steady to wing and shot by Sunday morning and Lou will be standing there, grinning that cocky grin of his, when they ask him how in the @#*% did he do it !
